Comórtas Buscála

On Thursday 12th November a busking competition was held. It was organised by the Irish Department. It proved to be a great success with many groups and individuals participating. Well done to the senior winners, Dylan Hogan, Luke Watkins, Ben Loughnane and Conor Shanahan and Junior winner Shannon Guilfoyle. The music and singing was enjoyed by students and staff alike and it is hoped to have a similar event later this academic year.

21 Year Celebrations

As part of the Coláiste Phobal 21 year anniversary Celebrations there are a number of projects underway. A new student Leader board has been put on display close to the school reception including the head boys and head girls since the school started.

On Tuesday 24th November there will be on online service by Fr. Lorcan to mark the 21 years and this will coincide with the official opening which took place on 24th November 2000. All current and past staff are contributing their memories and photos which will be amalgamated into presentations and many staff photos will be displayed as the year progresses. Any former staff member who would like to contribute can do so by emailing colaistephobal@tipperaryetb.ie or can leave material at the school reception.
