Castlecomer Discovery Park

On Tuesday 8th December TY Students and Teachers enjoyed a day out at Castlecomer Discovery Park. It proved to be a great bonding experience for all the students.

Signed Football

Members of our Senior Football panel pictured with a football signed by the 2020 Tipperary Munster Football championship winning team. These players were part of our Tipperary schools Senior winning team earlier this year and are pictured with their trophy also.

#GRMA

Friday 11th December was designated ‘Go raibh maith agat’ day #GRMA Day Thanks School, thanking all school Communities around the country for their efforts in relation to reopening our schools. Well done to all our staff and students.

Christmas Preparation

There is great festive atmosphere around the school with Christmas trees, decorations and a crib in various places. Our TY students are preparing to do a live nativity and preparation is well under way for our Christmas Service with students and staff busy preparing music, songs and script, Secret Santa, the outline of the Christmas Party day for students, 6th Year LCVP raffle of hampers in aid of St. Vincent de Paul and the Jerusalema dance Challenge!

TY Postcards

On Monday last TY class Rang Clarín wrote postcards to staff and residents in all of the local nursing homes in Roscrea to remind them that we are all thinking of them at this difficult time and to wish them a very Happy Christmas and New Year.  The students then walked to the post office and posted the cards.  Hopefully they have been received by now and no doubt they brightened up someone’s day!
