Former Principal passes away

We were all extremely saddened to hear that our former Principal, colleague and friend Gerard O’Brien had passed away on 26th February. Gerard was Principal in Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré from 1999 – 2015. He left a lasting legacy in the school and we extend our sincere sympathies to his wife Mary, son Mark, extended family, relatives and many friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Enrolment

Enrolment is now taking place for the PLC section of Coláiste Phobal for all the various course available for September 2021. Make sure to apply now to avoid disappointment.

Autism Friendly Schools Project

We are delighted to be taking part in the Autism Friendly Schools project in conjunction with AsIAm. We look forward to further promoting an inclusive culture in Coláiste through building knowledge and understanding of autism amongst staff and students.

 

Changeover to Rotation 3 for TY Students

Next week will see our TY students change timetable to rotation 3 which will give them further insight into the various option subjects prior to 5th year and a chance to experience certain choice subjects.

 

Programme and Subject Meetings

Recently we had Programme meetings for 3rd year students and their parents/guardians explaining to them the options of TY, along with LCA and LCVP for 5th year. There were also subject option meetings for parents/guardians of 3rd year and TY students recently.
