Match Day Success 

U-15 Boys Munster Hurling Championship 

Coláiste Phobal Roscrea V St. Munchins College Limerick

Played in terrible weather, St. Munchins opened the scoring with a point. Coláiste quickly  equalised with a nice point by Jack Walsh. Coláiste then conceded an unlucky goal but it was cancelled out quickly with 5 consecutive goals from Michael Dooley ( 2), Jack Walsh, Jack Ryan and Jamie Keeshan. Coláiste then conceded another goal. Coláiste then increased their lead with another point from Jack Walsh. The next score of the game was again by Jack Walsh with another brilliant point. Munchins then replied with  another point. Munchins then scored three quick point in succession, two from frees and one from play. Coláiste held their nerve however and responded with two points from Jack Walsh with one from play and one from a free. The half time whistle was then sounded and the score was Coláiste 5 6 Munchins 2 5. Game by no means over.

At the start of the second half Munchins had an easy shot on goal but it was stopped by Jack Ryan with a brilliant hook, it was a super piece of defending.
Coláiste opened the scoring with a point from Jamie Keeshan. The next score of the game was by Jack Walsh for Coláiste with an excellent point. Coláiste then scored another goal by Jack Walsh. Harry O’Donoghue then added to Coláiste growing tally with a point. Jamie Keeshan then played a nice ball over the top for Jack Walsh to receive it and score an excellent team goal for Coláiste. Cillian Moloney then followed with yet another goal for Coláiste. Munchins then followed with a point which was quickly followed by another point from a free for Munchins. Munchins then had yet another free shot on goal but was brilliantly saved by Tomás Shanahan and was then quickly cleared away by Eoghan Sheedy. Coláiste then followed up with another point from Jack Walsh. Munchins then scored and excellent goal which was fired into the bottom corner. Next score of the game was again by Munchins with a point. Coláiste then followed up with another point from Michael Dooley. Full time was whistle was then heard.
The full back line showed brilliant heart today and fought very well. Jack Ryan limited his marker very well with a great man marking job. Overall it was an excellent team performance. We wish the lads the very best of luck in their upcoming Munster quarter final.
