Congratulations to our Senior Camogie team who played in the Senior B league Semi-Final on Friday 15th December.
Final score: Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré 2-9 to St John the Baptist, Hospital 0-9.
We progress to a Munster final after Christmas. Well done girls!

Generosity of spirit
Here in Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré we have always had a proud tradition of generosity and giving back to our own community as well as further afield. We try to do this all year round but particularly at this time of year charitable acts and kind deeds can be especially important.

Christmas Celebrations
Some lovely celebrations were had with our students before we broke up for the holidays. Our senior students started off with a festive breakfast in the school canteen, followed by music and a student led sing-song, rounded off with a wonderful service led by the Religion Department in our school hall. Students participated in the service with wonderful readings, songs and music.
The service was based around the theme of peace.
Thanks to all of the students and staff who gave so freely of their time to make the service a wonderful and meaningful experience for all.
Our Junior students began their celebrations with our Peace-themed service before breaking up in to groups to participate in Bingo, Ceili and Table Quiz activities, with lots of prizes on offer. We’d like to say a word of thanks also to Premier Credit Union Roscrea who kindly sponsored our Junior Party Day.
Finally, we would like to extend our best wishes to all members of our school and wider community for the Christmas and New Year, and we look forward to seeing you all again in January.
Launch of Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré Alumni Mailing List
As you may be aware, we here in Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré are immensely proud of our fantastic students. This pride does not end when our students leave us to move on to the next stage of their lives, and there’s nothing we love more than to hear back from past pupils about their various adventures and accomplishments in life.
Bearing this in mind, we’ve decided to set up an alumni mailing list with the purpose of keeping in contact with past pupils and giving them a link to us here in the school community.
