Boys Badminton
Well done to our U19 and U16 boys badminton teams who represented Coláiste Phobal so well at the Tipperary county finals held in Our Lady’s Templemore on Thursday 11th January.
Girls Badminton Success
Well done to our U16 girls Badminton team (Roan Carney, Ciara Crofton, Abi Marks and Fia Dooley) who won the Tipperary badminton competition held on Tuesday Jan 9th in The Presentation Thurles. They beat The Presentation Thurles in the final by 2 aces. The girls now go on to represent Tipperary in the Munsters on January 22nd. Well done girls.
Study Skills Seminar
We would like to thank Matthew from Inspire Education for presenting a very valuable study skills seminar with our Third and Sixth year students this week. It was a very valuable session and no doubt will stand to our students as they prepare for their state exams later this year.
Reminder about School Alumni Mailing List
We would like to remind everyone that we launched our school alumni mailing list just before Christmas. As you may be aware, we here in Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré are immensely proud of our fantastic students. This pride does not end when our students leave us to move on to the next stage of their lives, and there’s nothing we love more than to hear back from past pupils about their various adventures and accomplishments in life.
Bearing this in mind, we decided to set up a mailing list with the purpose of keeping in contact with past pupils and giving them a link to us here in the school community.
