Huge congratulations to our U16 girls Badminton team who claimed a Munster title today in UL in impressive fashion. The girls beat Limerick 6-0 and Kerry 6-0 to top their group. They defeated Cork 4-0 in the semi final before seeing off the challenge from Clare in the final on a scoreline of 4-1. The team now progress to represent Munster in the All Ireland in March.

Well done also to our U14 boys team who represented Tipperary today in UL. Though unsuccessful today there’s plenty more to come from this young group of player in the years ahead.

Munster Champions- Camogie

Huge congratulations to our Senior Camogie team, who were crowned Munster Camogie Senior b league champions after beating Bandon of Cork on a scoreline of 1-13 to 0-8. A huge achievement from a super group of girls who have given a huge amount of dedication and commitment to the school on the camogie field in recent years.

Well done girls!

U17 Hurling

On Tuesday the 23rd of January, our U17 hurlers travelled to Thurles to begin their U17 Championship against a strong Thurles CBS team. A game played in difficult conditions, the boys acquitted themselves excellently and fought until the very end. The boys were beaten 2-24 to 3-12, but there were a lot of positives to be taken from this game. The future is bright for this young team.
