Athletics

The Munster Schools Indoor Athletics took place in the indoor arena in Nenagh on Tuesday  7th of  March. Adam and Kyle Dooley represented our school. Kyle, a first year student competed in the minor 60m sprint. He qualified in his heat and semi-final finishing second in both races. In the final Kyle finished in 3rd place, a fine achievement and a Munster medal in the bag! Adam also ran in the 60m sprint but at intermediate level. He too qualified through heats and semi-finals to reach the final. However, with some stiff competition he came away without a medal but with the accomplishment of finishing 6th in Munster. Well done to both boys and best of luck in upcoming events.
